We are currently seeking a proactive, technically skilled and customer-focused IT Technician to join a thriving and modern secondary school in Sheffield. About the Role
- Providing day-to-day IT support to staff and students
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
- Maintaining computer suites, classroom technology and IT equipment
- Assisting with user accounts, permissions and security
- Supporting the roll-out of updates, new systems and digital initiatives
- Working alongside the Network Manager on technical tasks
- Ensuring IT systems remain secure, efficient and compliant
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in IT support (school experience desirable)
- Knowledge of Windows, Office 365, networks and AV equipment
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and solve problems independently
- Relevant IT qualification desirable (CompTIA, Cisco, etc.)
