Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with a heart for inclusive education? We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary SENCo to join a dynamic one-form entry school in Hillingdon. As the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
- Part-Time: 3 days

As the Primary SENCo, you will:
- Lead and Develop Strategies: Be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and evaluating effective strategies to support the learning and development of children with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with Teachers: Work closely with classroom teachers to create inclusive learning environments and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Individualized Support Plans: Develop and oversee personalized support plans, ensuring they are tailored to each child's unique strengths and challenges.
- Liaise with Parents: Foster strong partnerships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and offering guidance on how they can support their child's learning at home.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support for staff to enhance their understanding of special educational needs, fostering a culture of inclusivity within the school community.
- Inclusive Curriculum: Collaborate with curriculum coordinators to ensure the curriculum is accessible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly assess the impact of SEN provision, collecting and analysing data to make informed decisions and continuously improve support services.
- SENCo Leadership Role: Assume a leadership role within the school, advocating for the rights of students with special educational needs and championing inclusive practices.
