Are you an experienced and empathetic SENCo who is passionate about ensuring every student can thrive? A well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Cheltenham is seeking a skilled SENCo from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen SEND provision within a supportive, high-achieving environment.
The Role
You will lead on the strategic development of the school’s SEND policy and practice, ensuring provision meets the diverse needs of all learners. You’ll coordinate a talented team of Learning Support Assistants and work closely with teachers, pastoral leads, and external professionals to create tailored interventions that support both academic progress and wellbeing. The successful candidate will also deliver staff training on differentiation, accessibility, and inclusive teaching, helping to maintain a culture where every student can succeed.
