An excellent school in Brent is seeking a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team on a full-time basis, with an ASAP start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to develop their career in education. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils with additional needs access learning, build confidence and make positive progress.
About the Role
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide targeted support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to engage positively with lessons and the wider school environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing one-to-one and small-group support

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs

Working closely with teachers to adapt and reinforce learning

Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence

Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to support strategies

Helping to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
