The Opportunity & School Profile
Join an outstanding, high-achieving STEM faculty. This essential role supports the teaching of all three sciences up to A-Level. We seek a skilled technician to manage our high-spec labs and maintain a safe, highly functional environment.
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year)
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Specialism: Taking key responsibility for the Physics and Chemistry labs, ensuring all equipment is calibrated, maintained, and safely stored.
- Support: Organising, developing, and delivering technical services for all three sciences (KS3–A-Level).
- Laboratory Work: Preparing materials, equipment, and solutions for practical lessons and demonstrations in line with CLEAPSS guidance.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Proven laboratory experience and knowledge of H&S procedures in a school environment.
Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience (ranging from £28,000 – £32,000 Annually).
