Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver Science across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to specialise at GCSE depending on their subject background.

The Role
The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3.
- Specialising in a Science discipline at GCSE where appropriate.
- Planning practical investigations and activities to reinforce learning.
- Preparing students for GCSE examinations through targeted teaching and revision.
- Monitoring student progress and responding to identified gaps.
- Providing effective feedback and intervention to support attainment.
- Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning.
- Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations within the classroom.
Experience and Qualifications
- Science Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge across the three Science disciplines.
- GCSE specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics would be advantageous.
- Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Passion for practical and engaging Science teaching.
- Legal ability to work within the UK.
