We are currently looking to register enthusiastic and reliable Science Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Islington from September 2026.
This is a great option for teachers who want flexibility without stepping away from the classroom. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a change of pace, an ECT building experience, or someone who prefers short-term work, we'll have opportunities based around your availability.
Choose the Work That Suits You
This is a day-to-day supply opportunity, rather than a permanent position. Assignments will be offered based on your availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.
You could work for a single day, cover several days at the same school or take on a short-term block. There is no obligation to commit to assignments that don't suit you.
Your Role
As a Supply Science Teacher, you'll be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive learning environment while delivering lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging Science lessons using the school's existing plans and resources.
Classroom Management: Establish positive relationships with students and maintain appropriate standards of behaviour.
Adaptability: Quickly settle into different schools, classrooms and routines while maintaining consistency in your teaching.
Student Support: Check understanding, answer questions and provide appropriate support to help students remain engaged with their learning.
Professional Standards: Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and expectations throughout each assignment.

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable
Experience teaching Science at the relevant Key Stages
A confident and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliability and professionalism
A genuine commitment to supporting students' education
A valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom
