A dynamic and supportive secondary school in Waltham Forest is recruiting an enthusiastic Teacher of Science with a specialization in Biology to strengthen the KS5 provision from January 2026.
Science Teacher required from January 2026 at a Waltham Forest-based school committed to securing better outcomes in the Life Sciences. Seeking a Biology specialist to teach across the core KS3/4 curriculum and lead A-Level Biology. You will teach all three sciences at KS3 and Combined/Triple Science at GCSE, with a focus on raising the quality of instruction and outcomes in Biology topics up to A-Level. Experience leading a key stage or specific subject area would be advantageous.
Experience and Qualifications- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Science degree (Biology preferred).
- Proven success in achieving strong GCSE and A-Level results in Biology.
- Ability to demonstrate and manage complex biology practicals effectively.
