A successful and well-established secondary school in Westminster is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Officer to join its dedicated support staff team from September 2026. Working closely with senior leaders, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of an efficient, professional and people-focused HR service. The Role The HR Officer will support the day-to-day delivery of HR operations, ensuring processes are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with current employment legislation and safeguarding requirements. Key responsibilities will include: Coordinating recruitment campaigns, interview arrangements and safer recruitment checks Managing onboarding, induction and probation processes for new employees Preparing contracts, offer letters and contractual documentation Maintaining accurate HR records and personnel files Supporting employee lifecycle processes, including contract changes and leavers Monitoring staff absence records and supporting wellbeing initiatives Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees Ensuring HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the school Assisting with HR reporting and continuous improvement projects About the School The school has established a strong reputation for both academic achievement and the positive culture it has created for its staff.
