School Caretaker – Worthing, West Sussex
Responsibilities
- Operational
Excellence: oversee the seasonal demands of the building, from frost protection in winter to ensuring outdoor spaces are prepared for the summer term.
Meticulous record-keeping of all safety checks is a must.
- Security & Key
Holding: as a trusted key holder, ensure the site is opened and secured with precision.
Monitor CCTV and door entry systems to maintain a secure environment for the school community.
- Maintenance & Improvement: take pride in keeping the site polished and functional. Manage minor repairs and propose larger improvements to the School Business Manager.
- Waste & Environment: manage the school’s recycling and waste streams and support green initiatives to maintain sustainability in day-to-day operations.
