This full-time, permanent position is scheduled to start in September 2026 and is well-suited for either an experienced historian looking for a fresh challenge or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT).

Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging history lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 / A-Level for a suitably qualified candidate).
- Foster a deep interest in historical concepts, encouraging students to analyze sources critically, evaluate interpretations, and build structured, evidence-based arguments.
- Assess, track, and report on the academic progress and attainment of pupils in line with GCSE exam board specifications and school marking policies.
