The Role

• Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience

• Planning and delivering challenging, well-structured lessons

• Delivering practical chemistry lessons with a strong emphasis on safety and precision

• Supporting pupils with exam preparation and academic extension

• Assessing pupil progress and providing high-quality feedback

• Contributing to curriculum development within the Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject

• Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching high-attaining pupils

• High expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement

• A professional, organised, and reflective teaching approach
