This is an excellent opportunity for a History Teacher to join a supportive Humanities department and teach across KS3 and KS4. You will deliver a varied History curriculum, helping students understand key events, individuals and developments while also teaching them how historians interpret evidence and reach different conclusions.

At KS3, you will build students' chronological understanding and introduce them to important historical concepts. At KS4, you will prepare students for GCSE examinations and develop their ability to analyse sources, explain historical significance and construct well-supported arguments.

The successful teacher will be able to make lessons interesting without losing academic rigour. You may use historical sources, images, maps, documentaries, debates and structured discussion to help students engage with different periods and perspectives.

Assessment will be an important part of the role. You will monitor progress, provide clear feedback and adapt teaching where students need additional support or challenge.
