A thriving secondary school in Salford is seeking a Caretaker to join the premises team from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. The Role
Working as part of the premises team, you'll help ensure the school remains safe, secure, and well maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include:
- Opening and locking the school site
- Carrying out planned maintenance and minor repairs
- Completing routine health and safety inspections
- Maintaining the school buildings and outdoor areas
- Preparing classrooms and halls for school events
- Supporting contractors and monitoring site access
- Reporting maintenance issues and assisting with site compliance
