A brilliant and well-regarded primary school in Royal Tunbridge Wells is seeking an experienced and proactive Premises Manager to join the school on a full time, permanent basis as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for the smooth running, safety, and maintenance of a welcoming and well-maintained school environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing site compliance, risk assessments, and record keeping
  • Coordinating contractors and overseeing site-related projects
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of buildings and grounds
  • Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience in a Premises Manager, Site Manager, or Caretaker role
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance
  • Practical maintenance and DIY skills
  • The ability to manage contractors and prioritise workload effectively
  • A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
