We are delighted to invite applications for a Year 2 Teacher to join our warm, inclusive, and supportive primary school community in Romford. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 teacher to support pupils at a crucial stage as they consolidate core skills and prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2. As a Year 2 teacher, you will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the curriculum, with a particular focus on developing pupils’ confidence in literacy and numeracy. You will maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour while creating a classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated. Assessment will be used effectively to track progress, identify next steps, and ensure all pupils are supported appropriately. Differentiation and inclusion will be central to your practice, supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, or additional needs to achieve their potential. You will work closely with Key Stage 1 colleagues, support staff, and parents to provide a consistent and positive learning experience.
