We are supporting a high-performing secondary school in the Romford area that is looking to appoint a capable and enthusiastic Art Technician to support their Art department from January. This is a full-time, term-time role, ideal for someone with a hands-on background in Art or creative production.
The Role
You will work closely with Art teachers to provide technical and logistical support across lessons and practical sessions. Responsibilities include preparing resources, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that Art spaces are safe, organised, and well stocked. The role plays a vital part in supporting student creativity and enabling high-quality practical outcomes.
- Preparing and maintaining materials for practical Art lessons
- Supporting staff with classroom setup and clear-down
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and studio spaces
- Assisting with displays, exhibitions, and enrichment activities
