Our Client is seeking a Finance Officer to assist with daily financial operations within a busy secondary school in Rochdale. Responsibilities include purchase ledger processing, income reconciliation, monitoring departmental budgets, maintaining accurate records and supporting termly financial forecasting activities.
This 11–18 secondary school educates approximately 1,220 pupils and is recognised for strong internal organisation, well-embedded safeguarding systems and clear operational leadership. Financial management plays a central role in the school's planning and long-term sustainability strategies. Support staff describe the working culture as calm, respectful and well organised. The finance team operates with clear accountability structures and strong collaboration with senior leadership.
