We are seeking an enthusiastic, academically driven, and committed Physics Teacher to join the successful Science faculty at a highly regarded secondary academy in the affluent Richmond area of South West London. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026.

The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Physics specialist dedicated to delivering rigorous, challenging, and engaging lessons. You will be joining a supportive environment where high academic expectations and a strong practical science curriculum are paramount. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice, particularly at the A-Level, and contributing to the department's consistent record of placing students in STEM courses at top universities.

We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • A proven track record as an excellent Physics Teacher with mandatory experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

Salary and Benefits:

  • Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
  • The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Outer London Pay Scale (The Outer London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £37,870 as of September 2025).
  • A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum.
  • Excellent, structured professional development and career progression pathways.
