Are you a passionate LKS2 Teacher looking to join a Richmond primary from January 2026? This role for an experienced LKS2 Teacher is available Full-Time from January 2026. The successful LKS2 Teacher will prepare planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026.

A day in the life β€” LKS2 Teacher:

  • Mornings: the LKS2 Teacher leads morning maths and English sessions, focusing on fluency and reasoning.
  • Afternoons: the LKS2 Teacher delivers foundation subjects and project work.
  • The LKS2 Teacher will run intervention sessions, lead assemblies and communicate with families.

LKS2 Teacher Responsibilities:

  • The LKS2 Teacher will plan cohesive units across Years 3 and 4, track progress and tailor interventions.
  • Contribute to phase moderation and support transition activities.
  • Liaise with subject leads and attend induction in January 2026.

LKS2 Teacher Requirements:

  • We require a LKS2 Teacher with QTS, strong KS2 experience and a collaborative approach.
  • The LKS2 Teacher must be available for planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026 and to start teaching from January 2026.
  • The LKS2 Teacher should be adept at using assessment to inform teaching and confident leading small-group work.

Professional expectations & school culture:

  • The LKS2 Teacher will be expected to contribute to monitoring and evaluation processes, demonstrate evidence of impact in pupil outcomes and share best practice across the phase.
  • The LKS2 Teacher will join CPD sessions and subject moderation meetings scheduled from January 2026 and will be supported by phase leaders to plan interventions and report on progress.
  • The school values wellbeing and will support the LKS2 Teacher with mentor time and manageable planning expectations.
