The successful EYFS Teacher will prepare provision before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 in a part-time capacity. A week in the life - EYFS Teacher:
- Mornings: the EYFS Teacher leads systematic phonics, story time and focused adult-led maths activities.
- Afternoons: the EYFS Teacher completes observations, plans next steps and meets with parents.
The EYFS Teacher will be fully included in weekly phase planning and CPD days beginning in January 2026 and will contribute to transition planning into Reception.
Responsibilities:- Design indoor and outdoor continuous provision.
- Deliver high-quality adult-led sessions and scaffold play.
- Identify children’s next steps through focused observation and assessment.
- Liaise with the Reception Teacher and inclusion staff to ensure smooth transitions.
- QTS/EYTS or equivalent.
