An independent-style education setting in Richmond is seeking an experienced Admissions Officer to join its team on a permanent basis.

This is a varied role with plenty of contact with prospective families, so the successful candidate will need to combine excellent administration skills with a warm and professional approach.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage enquiries from prospective parents and pupils.

  • Process applications and maintain accurate admissions records.

  • Arrange tours, meetings and admissions appointments.

  • Coordinate correspondence throughout the admissions journey.

  • Maintain applicant information and update internal systems.

  • Support offer, acceptance and enrolment processes.

  • Assist with admissions events and school open days.

  • Liaise with staff, families and external contacts.

  • Ensure all admissions documentation is completed accurately.

What We Need

  • Previous experience in school admissions, education administration or a similar role.

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and databases.

  • Professional and personable approach with families.

  • Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.

  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.

Experience within an independent school or competitive admissions environment would be particularly useful.
