Are you an enthusiastic and committed teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Reading. This is an exciting chance to work with motivated Key Stage 2 pupils and be part of a supportive, forward-thinking staff team.

Year 4 is a pivotal stage in primary education, where pupils consolidate their learning, develop independence, and begin to take responsibility for their own learning. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, foster confidence, and maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour. You will use assessment thoughtfully to identify next steps and differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL.

This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners. ECTs will benefit from structured mentoring and professional development, while experienced teachers will have opportunities to share their expertise and contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement.
