Are you an energetic and inspiring Year 1 teacher passionate about supporting children as they transition into Key Stage 1? We are seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join our warm and inclusive school in Reading from January 2026. This permanent position is open to full-time and part-time applicants, with a potential TLR for the right candidate.

The Role
- Position: Year 1 Teacher
- Location: Reading, Berkshire
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
- TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Year 1 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that bridge EYFS and KS1 learning
- Support pupils’ early literacy and numeracy progress
- Create an inclusive classroom that nurtures confidence and curiosity
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure strong outcomes
- (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase
