The successful candidate will work across a rotating shift system (covering early openings or late evening building lockups) to maintain site security and operational readiness. Day-to-day duties include:

  • Conducting dynamic security sweeps
  • Setting up multi-use halls for assemblies and exams
  • Managing waste clearance schemes
  • Accepting large-scale logistical deliveries

You will maintain professional communication channels with the Site Manager, teaching staff, and external cleaning networks, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Strong time-management skills are required to balance urgent, reactive porterage requests with routine compliance tasks in a busy academy environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous practical experience in caretaking, basic building trade operations, or property maintenance
  • Strong hands-on competency in basic DIY, painting, or fabric repair workflows
  • Good physical fitness to manage active daily porterage and site monitoring requirements
