A high-achieving Mixed Secondary School in Reading is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Music Early Career Teacher (ECT) to support their successful Music department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant and well-equipped creative environment where students are encouraged to develop musical confidence, imagination and technical skill across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The successful candidate will inspire teaching and learning by delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and creative musical projects. Responsibilities will include planning and delivering curriculum content across various genres, conducting ensembles or choirs, and supporting assessment procedures throughout the department. You may also assist with school concerts, productions of student work and departmental enrichment activities across the school.

The role requires someone who is practical, organised and enthusiastic about Music and Performance. Strong attention to detail, creativity and the ability to manage multiple ensembles effectively are essential.
