Job Overview
The school is seeking an IT Technician to join its well-established ICT Support Team from January 2026 (or earlier for the right candidate). This full-time, permanent role involves providing high-quality technical support to staff and students, maintaining equipment and contributing to the smooth operation of the school’s digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to troubleshoot effectively and committed to delivering an excellent standard of service.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing first-line technical support for staff and students
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues
- Maintaining PCs, laptops, tablets and classroom devices
- Supporting interactive whiteboards, projectors and other AV equipment
- Assisting with user account management, passwords and permissions
- Supporting installation, configuration and updates of ICT systems
- Monitoring and maintaining network and server health under supervision
- Documenting IT issues and contributing to ticketing/helpdesk processes
- Assisting with whole-school ICT projects and digital initiatives
- Ensuring ICT spaces are organised, safe and fully operational
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous IT support experience (school environment beneficial but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networks and device maintenance
- Confident troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
- Relevant IT qualifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) desirable
