Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Differentiating lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Assess, monitor and support student progress in line with school policies.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour for learning.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities and departmental development.
  • Provide pastoral support and build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Prepare students confidently for GCSE examinations and coursework requirements.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student wellbeing at all times.
