Role: Teacher of Religious Education - KS3-KS4

Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
A secondary school in Wisbech is seeking an RE Teacher for a temporary appointment. The department needs a teacher who can deliver balanced lessons on religious beliefs, ethical questions and contemporary issues while encouraging respectful discussion.
The Role
Teach RE across KS3 and KS4.
Cover religious traditions, philosophical questions and ethical debates.
Develop pupils' evaluation, extended-writing and critical-thinking skills.
Assess understanding and provide targeted feedback.
Maintain continuity with existing curriculum plans.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has sound knowledge of religious and non-religious worldviews.
Can facilitate inclusive classroom discussion.
Is able to adapt quickly to established schemes of work.
