The Role
A high-performing secondary school in Merton is looking for a reliable DT Technician to help its department run smoothly.
You’ll work alongside teaching staff to prepare resources, keep equipment in good condition and ensure practical lessons are ready to go.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up tools and materials for lessons.
Maintaining workshop equipment and reporting faults.
Keeping work areas organised and safe.
Checking stock and ordering supplies when needed.
Supporting teachers during practical activities.
Following workshop health and safety procedures.
About You
You’ll ideally have experience working with tools, machinery or workshop equipment. School experience would be useful, but a practical attitude and willingness to get stuck in are just as important.
