Our Client is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a highly successful school in Hertford. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Psychology and enjoys helping students understand how psychological theories and research can be applied to the world around them.
The successful Psychology Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging and academically rigorous lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. You will be responsible for planning lessons that encourage students to think critically, analyse evidence and develop a strong understanding of psychological concepts, research methods and theories.
The department is committed to providing students with a broad and challenging curriculum and welcomes teachers who can bring enthusiasm and creativity to their classroom practice. You will work alongside experienced colleagues and contribute to the continued development of teaching resources, assessment materials and curriculum planning.
The successful candidate will also be expected to monitor student progress closely and provide constructive feedback to help pupils understand how they can improve. Strong examination preparation skills and the ability to develop students' extended written responses would be particularly beneficial.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Psychology Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5
- Strong academic knowledge of Psychology
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS or recognised equivalent
- Experience teaching Psychology within a secondary or sixth-form environment
- Strong knowledge of assessment and examination requirements
- Ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
- Overseas teachers with a recognised formal teaching qualification may be considered
- Legal ability to work within the UK
