You would be working in a successful Social Sciences department teaching Psychology across KS4 and KS5. The department is highly regarded within the school and has a strong track record of academic success. Students are enthusiastic about the subject and enjoy exploring human behaviour, cognition and research methods through engaging and challenging lessons.
The curriculum is designed to develop analytical thinking, evaluation skills and academic writing. Students are encouraged to engage critically with psychological theories and contemporary research while developing confidence in independent learning and discussion.
The department works collaboratively to deliver high-quality lessons and ensure students of all abilities are supported and challenged effectively. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to intervention programmes, enrichment opportunities and wider school activities.
