- Using assessment effectively to monitor pupil progress and inform lesson planning.

- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development alongside academic progress.
- Collaborating with Teaching Assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders to deliver targeted interventions.
- Participating in pupil progress meetings, curriculum planning, and school-wide initiatives.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement, behaviour, and wellbeing.
- Keeping accurate records of pupil performance, assessment, and behaviour.
- Actively participating in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Upholding safeguarding, child protection, and school policies at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome).
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and consistently applies positive behaviour strategies.

- Can differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners.
