A well-established primary academy in Derby is looking for an experienced Year 5 Teacher to cover a current maternity absence. The school is seeking someone who can quickly integrate into the team and maintain strong standards of teaching and behaviour.
The Role
- Year 5: Take responsibility for a Year 5 class from the beginning of the appointment.
- Curriculum: Deliver a broad and balanced KS2 curriculum.
- Progress: Monitor individual pupil progress and implement targeted intervention.
- Planning: Work collaboratively with the year-group team.
- Behaviour: Maintain clear routines and high expectations.
- Reporting: Contribute to assessment and parent communication.

- QTS.
- KS2 teaching experience.
- Strong planning and assessment skills.
- Confident behaviour management.
- Reliable and well organised.
