A thriving secondary school in Preston is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to lead its administration team. Working closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee the daily operation of the school office while leading a team of administrators. You will ensure administrative systems run efficiently, school records are maintained accurately and communication across the school remains professional and effective.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong leadership ability and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service within a busy school environment.

The Administration Team is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school while delivering outstanding support to students, families and colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the school's Management Information System.
  • Coordinating communication with parents and external agencies.
  • Supporting recruitment administration and onboarding.
  • Preparing reports for senior leaders and governors.
  • Monitoring office budgets and ordering supplies.
  • Reviewing and improving office procedures.
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance across administrative systems.
  • Supporting school events and leadership administration.
  • Providing operational support to the Senior Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will become a key member of the school's leadership support team, helping ensure the school continues to operate efficiently while providing an excellent service to the wider community.
