Key responsibilities include:
- Providing emotional and pastoral support to students on a daily basis.

- Maintaining accurate welfare records in line with safeguarding protocols.
- Working with external agencies such as CAMHS, social services, and counselling providers.
- Supporting attendance and behaviour teams where needed.
- Running wellbeing workshops or small groups focused on resilience, emotional regulation, and social skills.
- Communicating regularly with parents, carers, and staff.
- Promoting a culture of openness, safety, and student empowerment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people in a pastoral, wellbeing, or safeguarding capacity.
- Strong communication and empathy skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training provided).
- Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional under pressure.
- Strong record-keeping and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
