Our Client is looking for a Science ECT to work within a high-performing comprehensive school in Portsmouth. The successful Science ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and receive strong guidance during their induction year.

School Information:

  • This 11–18 mixed school has approximately 1,200 students and consistently performs above national averages, with 92% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths.
  • The Science department is well-equipped with modern laboratories and offers engaging practical experiences to enhance learning.
  • The school provides ECTs with structured support, including regular feedback, mentoring and tailored CPD sessions.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Science ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4.
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE).
  • Legal right to work within the UK.

Salary: Paid to scale on MPS.
