You would be working in a successful Humanities faculty teaching History across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is committed to delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire curiosity and develop students' understanding of the past and its relevance to the modern world.
Students study a broad range of topics and are encouraged to develop analytical thinking, source evaluation and independent enquiry skills. The curriculum is carefully designed to help students become confident historians capable of constructing balanced arguments and evaluating differing interpretations.
The department has a strong record of academic success and teachers work collaboratively to ensure students are both supported and challenged. Staff are encouraged to contribute to curriculum development, educational visits and enrichment opportunities that enhance students' learning experiences.
