About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
- Inspire students through creative and stimulating approaches to Geography
- Develop students’ analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
- Assess and monitor progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as reading clubs, writing competitions, or theatre visits
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a teacher who:
- Is passionate about Geography and inspiring young people
- Holds a degree in Geography or a related subject
- Has QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
- Has experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Is an engaging and enthusiastic classroom practitioner
- Builds strong relationships with students and colleagues
- Is committed to high standards and ongoing professional development
