- Providing 1:1 mentoring for students with behavioural or emotional needs
- Supporting restorative conversations and conflict resolution
- Monitoring student conduct, attendance, punctuality, and engagement

- Working closely with Heads of Year and pastoral/safeguarding teams
- Delivering small-group sessions on emotional regulation, behaviour strategies, and resilience
- Supporting reintegration following suspensions or prolonged absence
- Liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies
- Maintaining accurate pastoral records and behaviour logs
- Supporting supervision during transitions, break, and lunchtime
- Contributing to whole-school behaviour initiatives
Experience working with young people in a pastoral, youth work, or behavioural role is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a calm professional manner, and strong emotional intelligence are required. The ability to build trust quickly and maintain positive relationships, along with a strong understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and behaviour policies, is crucial.
