The Role

A high-achieving Secondary School in Poole, Dorset, is seeking a professional, highly driven, and exceptionally organised Premises Manager to take strategic and operational control of the school’s physical estate, maintenance protocols, and safety compliance. This position is ideal for an experienced estates manager or senior facilities supervisor who excels at tracking asset logs, writing risk parameters, and managing internal staff workflows within a fast-paced public sector framework.

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day mechanical efficiency, security readiness, and structural upkeep of a multi-building secondary campus. You will maintain meticulous digital compliance logs, ensuring flawless implementation of fire door testing, emergency lighting diagnostics, legionella control routines, and structural lift accreditations.

You will serve as the school's principal authority on health and safety compliance (HASAWA frameworks), managing contractor inductions and organizing strict local authority audit folders.
