About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons that inspire students to explore Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Students follow a broad and academically ambitious curriculum that combines scientific theory with investigative practical work, developing analytical thinking, experimental techniques and scientific literacy. At Key Stage 5 you will have the opportunity to teach a specialist discipline, preparing students for A-Level examinations and supporting progression to leading universities and STEM-related careers. You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through science societies, STEM enrichment activities, Olympiad competitions, educational visits, guest-speaker programmes and co-curricular opportunities that encourage students to develop a lifelong enthusiasm for scientific discovery.
