Our client is seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their busy central personnel team from September. This position is ideal for an administrator with a keen interest in human resources looking to gain comprehensive hands-on HR experience within an educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing job application forms
- Scheduling interview panels
- Collating pre-employment vetting checks (references, right-to-work, barred list checks, and DBS verification)
- Updating the Single Central Record (SCR)
- Assisting with monthly payroll data entry
- Drafting offer letters and employment contracts
- Maintaining accurate digital personnel files
- Serving as a helpful first point of contact for staff HR inquiries
