You would be working in a successful and well-equipped Science department teaching Physics across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department benefits from modern laboratories, excellent practical resources and strong technician support that allow students to develop strong theoretical and investigative scientific skills.
Students are enthusiastic about Science and enjoy exploring topics including forces, electricity, energy and space through engaging and challenging lessons. Teachers within the department work collaboratively to deliver high-quality teaching and ensure students achieve strong academic outcomes across all key stages.
The curriculum is carefully sequenced to support progression and challenge students appropriately, while intervention and enrichment opportunities help students develop confidence and independent thinking. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to STEM clubs, enrichment activities and wider school initiatives.
