Are you an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Physics Teacher who loves to spark curiosity and encourage analytical thinking? A top-performing Bath secondary school, rated Ofsted Outstanding, is seeking a talented and inspiring Physics Teacher to join its highly successful Science Faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to teach motivated, high-achieving students in a supportive and innovative academic community.
The Role
You will teach Physics across Key Stages 3–5, using practical demonstrations, experimentation, and engaging discussion to bring the subject to life. Lessons here are creative, well-resourced, and designed to challenge pupils’ understanding of how the world works — from particle theory to astrophysics. The department offers a broad range of enrichment opportunities, including astronomy evenings, science fairs, and entry into national competitions such as the Physics Olympiad.
