About the School

The school is a leading independent day and boarding institution, educating over 1,000 pupils from ages 11–18. Situated in the historic city of Oxford, it benefits from a rich academic heritage and offers an environment where students are encouraged to excel both inside and outside the classroom. You will be teaching Physics across Key Stages 3–5, inspiring students through practical experiments, problem-solving activities, and high-quality teaching. The role also provides opportunities to get involved in extracurricular science initiatives, such as STEM clubs, national Olympiads, university taster sessions, and outreach projects. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and experienced Science team that places emphasis on professional growth. Regular CPD opportunities, mentoring, and the chance to contribute to the wider school community are key features of the role.
