A progressive Good primary in Peterborough is seeking an ambitious Year 4 Teacher to join KS2 on a Full-Time contract from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will engage in pre-term planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and begin teaching from January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher will benefit from a collaborative KS2 phase, strong TA support and a leadership team committed to curriculum coherence from January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver rich, knowledge-based maths and English sequences as the Year 4 Teacher.
  • Use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions as the Year 4 Teacher.
  • Lead cross-curricular projects, extra-curricular clubs and contribute to subject development as the Year 4 Teacher.

The Year 4 Teacher will take part in moderation and phase review in the weeks before January 2026 and will lead pupil progress meetings after January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Requirements:

  • QTS and strong KS2 experience expected of the Year 4 Teacher.
  • A Year 4 Teacher with excellent subject knowledge, behaviour management and an inclusive approach.
  • Available to prepare before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.
