We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Peterborough, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to teach pupils in Lower Key Stage 2, helping them develop independence, resilience, and strong academic skills across all curriculum areas. The Role
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across all subjects.

- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum.
- Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning.
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners.
- Maintain a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Promote independence, resilience, and positive behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues.
- Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and school improvement initiatives.
Who We’re Looking For
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Lower Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
- Be confident delivering the national curriculum and assessment.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Be reflective, adaptable, and proactive.
- Show a commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.
- Work positively as part of a collaborative team.
