About the RoleAs Teacher of Art & Design, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and the school’s curriculum offer. You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
- Strong drawing and observational skills alongside creative experimentation
- Knowledge of artists, movements and contextual understanding
- Confidence with a range of media (e.g., painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, digital where applicable)
- Independent thinking through purposeful sketchbook work, annotation and evaluation
- GCSE success through clear modelling, structured practice and targeted feedback
