An outstanding Secondary School in Peterborough is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join its technical team. This is a hands-on role providing 1st and 2nd line support across a range of users, systems and devices.
The Role
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support via phone, email and on-site
- Diagnose and resolve Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware and connectivity issues
- Install, configure and maintain PCs, peripherals and software
- Support user accounts, devices and basic networking
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, deployments and IT projects
- Provide support across servers, backups and security systems
- Log, manage and resolve incidents through to completion
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a reliable IT environment
About You
- 2+ years' experience in an IT support environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
- Good understanding of networking and troubleshooting
